Mechanically recovered meat

Mechanically recovered meat is obtained by mechanically separating the meat tissue still left on the bones after a carcass has been deboned by hand. This process may change or destroy the structure of the muscle tissue. HOVU specialises in the production of mechanically recovered meat. We have advanced machinery at our disposal that allows us to produce high grade raw materials for the meat, sausage and snack industries.

HOVU produces three kinds of mechanically recovered meat. The consistently high quality of our production process means that our clients are assured of uniform raw materials. They can be divided into Type 3 and Type 4 mechanically recovered meat products.
